Upcoming Olympics on 26th July 2024, Paris

The 2024 Summer Olympics which is also known as Paris 2024 scheduled to take effect on 26th July to 11th August 2024. Paris, the capital and at the same time the most populous city of France has been awarded as the hosting city of the Olympic Games 2024. Although it still has few more years to go it is not too earlier to get excited for this amazing multi sports event which unifying the people in each country for peace through sports.

131st International Olympic Committee (IOC) session in Lima, Peru in awarding the hosting city a golden opportunity has been taken place in Olympics history that award the both 2024 and 2028 Olympic Games simultaneously to Paris and Los Angeles respectively by following a Tripartite agreement between these two candidate cities and IOC. The president of IOC Thomas Bach termed this incident as a golden opportunity as it leads to significant cost reduction in organising the Olympic Games and will have more sustainable and more feasible games as a positive output of this decision.

Paris has got the opportunity to host the Summer Olympics for third time in 2024 with the previously hosted years 1900 and 1924. This marathon will not be started at the same time in parallel with the elite competition, but amateur athletes will run on the same track and under the same conditions as in the Olympics.
