Gujarat Titans Wins IPL 2022

Tata IPL 2022 was the fifteenth IPL in history it was played from 26 March to 29 May. In briefly IPL is a professional twenty twenty cricket league organized by the Board of control for cricket in India.


Gujarat Titans and Rajasthan Royals have played the final of 15th IPL on 29th May night at Ahmedabad. The Titans was the winners by seven wickets with eleven balls to spare to lift the trophy.

The most impressive thing about Gujarat Titans is that they won the cup in their very first season they attempted.

With a bid of 5,625 crores (US$740 million), CVC Capital Partners, a British private equity and investment consultancy business, obtained the rights to manage the Ahmedabad franchise. Hardik Pandya has been taken as the captain of the team by spending 15 cores of Indian rupees. Hardik's fifth IPL win, and first as a captain, comes after he won the previous five with the Mumbai Indians.

The Titans stunned everyone with their efforts, scoring their first win over fellow newcomers Lucknow Super Giants, despite their auction techniques and picks at their first-ever auction being considered poor. On a pitch where they were asked to bowl first, Gujarat won the final by restricting Rajasthan to 130 runs.

Rajasthan Royals

In the inaugural season of the IPL in 2008, the Rajasthan Royals were one of the original eight clubs. Despite being written off as a championship contender by the media and public, the team won the inaugural season of the IPL under the leadership of Shane Warne. Under Rahul Dravid's leadership, the Royals finished second in the 2013 Champions League Twenty20.

Purple Cap – Yuzvendra Chahal (Rajasthan Royals)

Indian cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal won the purple cap title since he got the most wickets (27 wickets) in IPL 2022. The achievement was taken by 68 overs. The second most wicket taker (26 wickets) is a Sri Lankan famous cricketer Wanidu Hasaranga (Royal Challenges Bangalore) also known as Waniya. Waniya used 57 overs to take the 26 of his wickets in IPL 2022

Orange Cap – Jos Buttler (Rajasthan Royals)

The orange cap tile was taken by another Rajasthan Royals cricketer Jos Buttler who is a great English cricketer. In order to win the orange cap Jos buttler achieved 863 runs in seventeen matchers at an average runs of 57.53 IPL 2022. The highest score of Jos Buttler was 116. The second most runs (616 in 15 matches) owner is K L Rahul a famous Indian cricketer.

According to the IPL website Jos buttler was the most valuable player having highest points (387.5) in IPL 2022.

Gujarat Titans and Rajasthan Royals, both IPL 2022 finalists, shared the season's Fairplay honor. Both teams concluded the season with a 10.0-point average, with the Royals scoring 170 points in 17 games and the Titans scoring 160 points in 16 games

Fastest Delivery of the Season – Lockie Ferguson (Gujarat Titans)



Lockie Ferguson, a right-arm fast bowler from New Zealand, earned the “Fastest Delivery of the Season” in this IPL season while playing for the Gujarat Titans. Ferguson bowled one ball at 157.3 kmph in the IPL 2022 final versus Rajasthan Royals, which was the fastest delivery of the season.

Super Striker of the Season – Dinesh Karthik (Royal Challengers Bangalore)


Dinesh Karthik of the Royal Challengers Bangalore earned the Super Striker of the Season title. With a strike rate of 183.33, the right-handed hitter concluded the season with the greatest strike rate.
